Possible Home

2013-2026 / World

I walk through cities that do not belong to me. In front of each door, I imagine a possible form of permanence.

I walk through cities that do not belong to me. In front of each door, I imagine a possible home. Photographing them is a way of touching the world without owning it: a slow, almost old-fashioned gesture in a time that pushes us to pass through everything without truly inhabiting anything. I collect surfaces that resist: worn wood, peeling walls, opaque glass, closed shutters, crooked shadows, warm reflections. In them I find the trace of a life I do not know, and at the same time, the shape of a question of my own. I am a body in transit. I am not looking to arrive; I am trying to understand where I could stay. Each photograph is an essay on that possibility. This series is a collection of thresholds: places where I almost lived.
